Modest Summer Outfit Ideas (Clothes Reviews)

As Summer is rolling around, everybody is getting ready to go swimming, hang out with friends, not be in school. Being homeschooled, as I am, you don't get a summer break. We do schoolwork all year 'round. We don't go to prom or homecoming or nothing like that. It's just me and my family and we do stuff together. Around here, summer means working outside, lots of birthdays, and being hot and sweaty, really hot and sweaty. We grow a garden every year, except this year because we've been way too busy. My oldest sister has been working part-time (almost everyday) at an animal rehabilitation center. She brings home baby animals, mainly baby squirrels and opossums that she raises, then sets free. We don't have much time to go shopping for clothes. We shop at local thrift shops and get clothes given to us by friends or family. In this post I would like to address some modest and appropriate clothes that I have found online and may or may not be adding to my Christmas wish list. (No, we do not do Santa Claus).

  This dress I asked for for my birthday, but didn't receive.I will be asking again for it for Christmas.  It's not necessarily a summer dress, but I wanted to add it to this list. (Link)

I got this vest for Christmas. I love it so much. It was the perfect size and goes great with whatever I wear. I like to wear it with turtleneck shirts. (Link)

This skirt is one of my favorite gifts. I got it for Christmas along with the vest. I have to wear a slip under it because it is a little see-through, but otherwise that that, I really love it and it's great for summer. (Link)

I really want these cat ear headbands. I've asked for them like three times now. I found these because Taylor Swift wore some that looked like these in her "22" music video. A few years back me and my sister were big Taylor Swift fans. (My sister kinda backed out because she's not a fan of her new music, but I enjoy it). (Link)

These shoes are no longer available, but I wanted to add them because I love them so much. I got them for Christmas and have been wearing them ever since. I think these shoes are great for any season, but I've been wearing them in the summer everywhere I go and they are great. These are really similar (Link)   (Link)
